► Rule no. 1: Sending the same messages three times or more will get you punished for Spamming. Any attempt to bypass this rule will also get you punished for it, for example, waiting some seconds before sending the same message or sending a different message in between, either that being a dot or a whole sentence

► Rule no. 2: Flooding the chat with messages, making it hard to read out what other players might be saying, or simply disrupting the chat is not allowed. It is not allowed to send 4/5 or more messages in a really short time span. This means that you cannot send short messages when in reality you could've said the same thing in one long message. We also consider Flood sending around 15+ random characters, such as "e3wwohohabfgDFG"

► Rule no. 3: The discussion chat serves the purpose of assisting and helping the members of the community with any issues regarding the network. It can be used by members to ask for help or to provide assistance to others. Doing otherwise or going off-topic in this channel is not allowed.

► Rule no. 4: Sending a message / multiple messages with either: 3+ words or 15+ characters capitalized. Sending 3 messages with 1 capitalized word each also will count towards the rule and can get you punished; that means no splitting up and trying to bypass it. You might also be punished if you send a bit less than 15 characters in caps lock, depending on the context./p>

► Rule no. 5: Being rude towards other players or members of the community, regardless of the platform the communication is taking place in. This also includes messages which do not include any certain swear words but are still rude towards players in general.

Note: This rule still allows players to trash talk, although only to a certain point. You also must keep in mind that this rule is not enforced in the Factions game mode.

► Rule no. 6: Mentioning a server username or abbreviation is against the rules of our Network. This rule also includes the mention of Hacked Clients.

► Rule no. 7: Asking people to contact you on another platform or through another means to advertise something to them in order to bypass the advertising rule is not allowed.

► Rule no. 8: You may not talk in public chat in another language other than in English. This rule includes to any message, even if it's only one word. There are however certain commonly known words, such as "Hola", "Bonjour", etc.

While we do not mean to discriminate or block certain languages from being used, we do need for the English language to be the only one used publicly, both for moderation purposes, as well as to give the chance for all the players to be able to understand what everyone else is saying. You can feel free to speak in other languages in other private communication channels, such as /msg, /fmsg, party chat, faction/gang/team/island/clan chat, etc.

Note: If you break any other more severe rule in another language, you will also be punished accordingly, such as swearing with a disability in another language.

► Rule no. 9: When complaining about a certain punishment that you have received, you may feel free to calmly and respectfully contact the staff member in question, asking them why you have been punished, etc. Doing so in a disrespectful and immature way, however, is forbidden. You will receive a verbal warning beforehand, though if you keep going, the punishments will follow the ladder listed below. Regardless of how you handle this situation, if you feel that a staff member hasn't properly punished you, you may always feel free to report them on the forums, under "Staff Reports".

► Rule no. 10: Continuously asking staff members for items, perks, or anything of that nature is not allowed. You may ask them for a better sword, a donator rank, or some money in-game, though if they deny said request, you may not ask for it again. If you do so, you might receive a verbal warning for this rule. After the verbal warning, the punishments will follow the ladder listed below.

► Rule no. 12: The 'Help & Support' voice channel in RuinMC discord is used by members to seek assistance in situations where it is required to communicate with staff members by speaking. Using this to waste time of staff members is not allowed.

► Rule no. 13: Advertising Social Media, whether it is by mentioning the name or by sharing a link to it, other than RuinMC's media is strictly prohibited.

Note: In the case of a player's username breaking this rule, the username will be permanently banned from the in-game server.

► Rule no. 14: Sending the same advertisement message in chat, whether it's for a shop, a trade, or a buycraft deal repeatedly during long periods of time, in a way that floods the chat is prohibited. While this rule is mainly put in place for game modes such as skyBlock Dream, Prison & Survival, it can also be punishable elsewhere. As a member of an island, gang/cell, clan, or Faction, you may ONLY send ONE automated / repeated message per group. This means that two or more players of the same group cannot advertise the same shop on two or more accounts in order to attract more players. If you are independently advertising your own trade (buycraft or not), you can only do so on one account, whether it's an alt or your main account. Regarding how often players can send a message manually to advertise their shop/trade, they can only do so once every 5 minutes. Players may also use an external program to automate these messages, but they will only be allowed to send it once every 15 minutes. If you get caught using a program to send these automatically less than every 15 minutes and then pretending to be manually sent, you will most likely be permanently banned under Chat Macros. Regarding how many messages you are allowed to send per "wave" of advertisement, you can send up to 2 messages back to back in order to have a longer message.

Note: If you are caught sending any of these messages in a game mode where they don't belong in, such as the Lobby, you will be punished regardless if they follow the rules listed above.

► Rule no. 15: Finding out a 'way around' the rules by phrasing something differently while its actual meaning would result in violation of a rule is the same as breaking the rule, and is not allowed.

► Rule no. 16: Encouraging, asking, or incentivizing any player to break any rule, regardless of its severity, or if it's a chat/gameplay rule.

► Rule no. 17: We do not allow or condone any sort of discrimination towards how someone looks, or what their beliefs are. You must be respectful, open-minded, and understand other people's differences. You also must not insult or give prejudicial treatment to different groups of people, whether it's because of their race, age, gender, sexual orientation, or others.

When it comes to racial slurs, we are extremely strict. You cannot say something that resembles the actual word, regardless if you meant it or not, meaning you cannot say "Nigeria / Niger, etc. are countries" without any prior context. Any attempt of bypassing this rule will end up having you punished.

Note: This is a severe rule, which, if broken multiple times and depending on its severity, can end up having a longer and more severe punishment than normal.

► Rule no. 18: Distributing or asking a player for nudes is strictly prohibited, regardless of whether it is perceived as a joke or not.

► Rule no. 19: Having sexually-orientated conversations or sending sexual messages. This also includes anything that may be considered NSFW (Not Suitable For Work), such as talks of performing, conducting, or encouraging sexual activities.

► Rule no. 20: Having any kind of inappropriate nicknames is wholly prohibited within the Network. This also includes racist or discriminatory nicknames but is not limited to them. The offenses of this rule follow the punishment chart of the rules being broken within the nickname itself.

► Rule no. 21: Using an alternative account or any in-game channel to bypass your mute is wholly disallowed on our Network. This rule is not only limited to using alternative accounts but using any other method of evading your mutes.

► Rule no. 22: Attempting to start riots in an attempt to cause conflict and chaos is disallowed in the Network. If you are caught trying to create a riot or participating in one, you will be punished according to the punishment chart.

► Rule no. 23: Impersonating certain community members is something we take very seriously and is completely disallowed on our Network. Any attempt to impersonate a staff member or content creator will get you punished under this rule.

Please note the following:

If the user impersonating the Staff member or Content creator is impersonating them through a message, a mute will be applied.

If the user impersonating the Staff member or Content creator is doing it through a nickname, a mute will be applied.

If the player's username is similar to a Staff Member or Content creator's username, the player will be permanently banned.

► Rule no. 24: Using any kind of disease or disability as a negative remark or as an insult is completely forbidden on the Network, regardless of the communication platform.

► Rule no. 25: Making any kind of threats toward members of the community is completely forbidden on our server, no matter the place of communication. This also includes direct or indirect threats.

► Rule no. 26: Posting inappropriate/unapproved links on any part of our Network is completely prohibited and will get you muted no matter the circumstances.

► Rule no. 27: Selling or buying in-game items for PayPal is completely disallowed on the Network. Attempting to sell/buy items for PayPal will also get you punished under the same rule. This rule is not only limited to PayPal but any third-party service like Discord Nitro but also cosmetics on other games etc.

► Rule no. 28: Selling an account for any sort of currency, whether it's IRL money, gift cards, buycraft, or in-game items isn't allowed, regardless if it was said as a joke or not. If the account which you have bought has been banned, we will take no action to unban it just because they're under a new owner.

Note: We do not recommend you buy other players' accounts, as they can easily scam you and we will not be helping out in these sorts of trades. We also will not guarantee any sort of safety for the account once you've bought it, as it can be password changed with ease.

► Rule no. 29: Demanding an item, gift card, or third-party service from someone in order for you to not perform certain actions that could either compromise their gameplay experience, or their account's safety.

Note: In order for someone to determine whether a user can be punished for "Blackmailing" or not, you must contact a Sr.Mod or Manager.

► Rule no. 30: You are not allowed to send discord invite links to other servers other than the Official RuinMC Discord Server. 

► Rule no. 31: Threatening a player to reveal their personal information (Dox) or to DDos (Definition here) is strictly prohibited, even when it is more than clear that it was a joke. If this was done on Discord, a Permanent Ban will be applied.

► Rule no. 32: Encouraging players to use, purchase or install a hacked / ghost client by either giving them the download link, the website name, or sending a message that pushes an advertisement to the player(s). Keep in mind that if the advertisement doesn't include a website or isn't strictly encouraging players to use said client, it would fall under Light Advertising.

► Rule no. 33: Sharing the IP's of other servers, either in-game, discord, and/or the Forums is completely forbidden, and will result in a permanent IP-Ban from the platform. This includes any images/videos containing an unblurred IP.

► Rule no. 34: Some rules that are not covered above but violate Discord's Terms of Service will result in punishment.

► Rule no. 1: You may not have bot accounts afking on walls at all times, even if they have no raid detector function. This is because we can not prove if a bot is using a raid detector, so we disallow it completely.

► Rule no. 2: You are not allowed to have more than 1 buffer counter per side of your base.

► Rule no. 3: You are only allowed to have 1 chunk (16 blocks) of ocean in width per side of your base.

► Rule no. 4: Claiming in the path of another faction's buffer during grace period is not allowed.

► Rule no. 5: Your faction can only have 2 spawner boxes per base claim. Each Spawner box should be atleast 1x1 chunks and 30 blocks tall. All the value in your base claim must be accessible without having to breach more than 2 boxes. This includes other spawners such as cows, pigs, and blazes that are giving value to your faction.

► Rule no. 6: You may not patch in the unclaimed land where your buffer ends. Claiming and then patching will be seen as extending your buffer.
Note: If you are to accidentally place more than 2 extended blocks your faction will be striked for this rule. This applies to all types of claims where it can be extended; within your claim, raid claim or wilderness.

► Rule no. 7: Your faction is only allowed to claim 1 corner. Claiming more than 1 corner will result in the corner being unclaimed. Factions are not allowed to claim multiple corners on alt accounts.

► Rule no. 8: Having several members of your faction spam a similar phrase is not allowed. This includes bots intentionally spamming chat as well. A verbal warning will be issued before strikes are given.

► Rule no. 9: Your buffer count starts from the exterior of your base shell. The buffer limit is 15 chunks or 120 walls. Going past this number will lead to strikes. Skipping chunks and genning more walls will also count towards your buffer size.

► Rule no. 10: Putting obsidian or any other sort of pillars in front of your base so other factions do not have space to create a cannon is not allowed.

► Rule no. 11: Surrounding spawners in obsidian or water or hiding them in reverse layers / between walls so they can not be creeper egged is not allowed.

► Rule no. 12: You are allowed 2 base boxes in your buffer. The minimum size for each base box is 3x3 chunks while the maximum is 10x10 chunks. Each base box must be at least 30 blocks tall.

► Rule no. 13: When attempting a faction’s base you are REQUIRED to use raid claims. Your barrel must either be barrel claimed or raid claimed, if it is not, your faction will be striked for this offense. Raid claims are not required for raiding traps or testing cannons.

► Rule no. 14: Claiming in the path of another faction's buffer during grace period is not allowed.

► Rule no. 15: You may not interfere in a raid if you are not in the faction who is defending or raiding a base. Examples of interfering are pvping / constantly tagging members in an active raid or genning walls / helping a faction counter. If you are consistently seen closer than 50 blocks to the walls or the base, your faction can also be striked for this. Team Faction staff members have the right to tell you to leave the spectating scene if you are causing too much trouble, and to issue a 1d IP-Ban if you do not comply.

► Rule no. 16: Patching through the use of /printer, genbuckets, or sandbots while you are on an active timer is not allowed. This also counts for raiding and counter cannons. You may not patch in these ways if you are being countered or countering. On a cannon box, you must wait 5 minutes after the last shot to begin gen patching, otherwise your faction will be striked for this offense.

► Rule no. 17: Illegal cannons list: Push Nukes, U-Fusions, Horizontal Pseudos, Horizontal Nukes, Multiple Wall One-Shots, Mid Airs, Corner Nukes, Wall Removers, Left/Right Shooters, Worms, any cannon faster than 3 seconds (above a 10 stacker), and any cannon that uses more than 3000 TNT per shot. Note: The use of illegal cannons may lead to a ban on the cannoner.

► Rule no. 18: Shooting 2 counter cannons at once is forbidden including shooting a buffer counter and a side counter at the same time, ect...

► Rule no. 19: Barrels must be raid claimed or barrel claimed. Barrels may not float into wilderness claims.

► Rule no. 20: You are not allowed to have more than 1 active cannon in a cannon box or in a cannon claim. The same goes for counter cannons and their claims. For a cannon to be 'inactive' it must be blown up.

► Rule no. 21: You are not allowed to use an overstacker cannon which overstacks more than 6 blocks.

► Rule no. 22: You may not use alt factions to trigger a raid timer on your faction.

► Rule no. 23: Players are not allowed to have more than 3 chunks of walls (24 walls) per side of their raid box and they are not allowed to use finnsters/anti-nuke walls or oceans on their raid box.

► Rule no. 24: You are not allowed to side counter without using counter cannon claims. Raid claims are also fine. Using regular claims to side counter will get you punished. You don't need to have counter cannon claims for counters which are inside your buffer.

► Rule no. 25: Back countering, bordering countering, and front countering are no longer allowed. When countering a cannon you must either use your base buffer counters or create a side counter. You may not create a counter on the front side of a cannon box or on the border side for border bases. This is for when you are defending your base. You may make a front side counter if countering another counter cannon. Pre-side counters are also allowed for defending your base, however you may only have 1 per side.

► Rule no. 26: Your faction is only allowed to claim 1 corner. Claiming more than 1 corner will result in the corner being unclaimed and strikes towards the faction. Factions are not allowed to claim multiple corners on alt accounts.

► Rule no. 27: Using software / an external tool to automate farming crops is not allowed. This also includes breaking crops with the printer break feature.

► Rule no. 28: Having one of your faction members get blacklisted for Doxxing, Duping or any other very severe offense.

► Rule no. 29: Inviting players to join your faction mid raid is not allowed. The raid starts when a faction has a raid claim on another. Players may join if they are already within the factions’ roster.

► Rule no. 30: Hiding value is not allowed, you must have all your value spawners placed within base claims so they are counted towards faction top. Value spawners are the following: Villagers, Iron Golems, Zombie Pigmen, and Silverfish.

► Rule no. 31: Camping near a base while they are on safety break and preventing them from patching their walls is not allowed.

► Rule no. 32: You are not allowed to have more than 3 chunks of antinukes defending your base.

► Rule no. 33: You are not allowed to have more than 1 buffer counter per side of your base.

► Rule no. 34: You may not mine, creeper egg, or chunkbust spawners while you are being raided, a raid starts once a raid claim has been claimed. Players may mine spawners freely while on safety break or shield.

► Rule no. 35: Raiding with normal claims while your faction is raidbanned is not allowed under any circumstance. You are also not allowed to join another faction to raid while your main faction is raid banned.

► Rule no. 36: Having 3 players banned in your faction for cheats or related is not allowed. This includes inactive and active bans as the player still broke a rule and was punished. Another 3 bans is required to move on to the next offense.

► Rule no. 37: Bot accounts may not have any sort of vanish trackers, world scanners, player trackers, or any type of movement / combat modules. If a bot is seen to be moving / flying there is enough reason to screenshare the bot account / account owner for bot related punishments.

► Rule no. 38: Abusing the server by trying to crash it, bug abuse, dupe and similar. Even if only one player in your faction does this, the whole faction could be affected.

► Rule no. 39: Merging two factions within the last 14 days of the map is NOT allowed. Merging consists of two factions combining together with people, factions and value to compete for a spot in /f top. It is not allowed to prevent factions from getting an unfair advantage over other factions. If caught merging illegally the last 2 weeks, the owners will be the ones to carry the punishment and if continued refusal to cooperate and separate the factions continues, members refusing to do so will also be punished.

► Rule no. 40: Creating automatic cane farms are not allowed as they hurt the economy as well as server performance.

► Rule no. 41: Claiming with an alt faction inside of your buffer with the intent to give more than 18 hours of shield to your base is not allowed. Using an alt faction with shield to protect your cannon box is also not allowed.

► Rule no. 42: You can't share value between other factions and it's a disqualification from Factions Top.

► Rule no. 43: Creating a new faction to evade your previous factions’ strikes is not allowed.

► Rule no. 44: Using the F11 bug / Alt + Tab to grind mobs or crops is not allowed. You must be present at all times whilst doing these actions

► Rule no. 45: Being inside a Faction and essentially betraying the team, such as stealing items and leaving or intentionally destroying base walls to allow for intruders, is disallowed.

► Rule no. 1: Exploiting your operative system bugs, or making use of items to click automatically.

► Rule no. 2: Exploiting the limits given to you by the server by replacing your island members to increase the efficiency and profit of your Island.

► Rule no. 3: Having one or More alt on another island while being in one originally to help them win in the competition. Or Having an alt Island to get 2 island tops at the same time.

► Rule no. 4: Island boosting is whenever an island increases other island's value to get them into a higher competition position.

► Rule no. 5: Selling a portion of your Island value for Buycraft/PayPal that would affect the current island top positioning (Top 1-5)

► Rule no. 6: Killing a player in an island or by requesting them to teleport into a war zone without mentioning it to the player is strictly forbidden. We do not refund any items lost, due to a player breaking this rule.

► Rule no. 7: Trapping and luring players into traps is forbidden. Some of these traps make it impossible for the trapped player to enjoy the game. This includes but is not limited to tp trapping and portal trapping. We do not refund any items lost, due to a player breaking this rule.

► Rule no. 8: Betraying your island is not allowed, stealing items and then leaving and stuff like that will get you punished.

► Rule no. 9: An island team or a solo island merges with another island to gain island top value is strictly forbidden.

► Rule no. 1: Using inappropriate names for the gangs is not allowed and the owner of the gang will support the punishment.

►  Rule no. 2: Sharing accounts whilst a competition is in progress.

You are allowed to share your account with your own gang members whilst there is no extra competition undergoing. Therefore you may share your account for Gang Top purposes.

► Rule no. 3: Sharing alt accounts with members of different gangs.

► Rule no. 4: Boosting other gang's progress to increase their chances of earning a payout, or overall improving their TOP position.

► Rule no. 5: Basically a betrayal between a member(s) of your cell. Insiding can occur multiple ways, Stealing Items, Mining Valuable Blocks and so on. If you found that a member of your team betrayed you, you must report the player immediately on the forums with strong evidence against the player you are reporting. Please note that we will not refund any damage that your cell been through if your report will be accepted.

► Rule no. 1: Claiming next to / very close to another persons build in order to prevent them from expanding their own build. On first offence your claim will be removed, on a second offence or reported offence your claim will be removed and you will be punished under the griefing timeline.

► Rule no. 3: You may not destroy or intentionally ruin someone else's build or steal items from them. This rule includes builds which aren't currently claimed by someone, as well as cobble monsters.

► Rule no. 1: Making use of the bounty command on KitPvP in order to flood the chat is against the rules, and will be punished accordingly.

Note: If the player spamming the bounty is muted, this rule will follow the punishment ladder for "Mute Evading". Otherwise, it will follow the punishment ladder for "Flooding".

► Rule no. 2: You are not allowed to log out mid combat if you have a bounty on you, that is due to removal of rewards if a player kills.

► Rule no. 3: Being inside of a saferoom whilst remaining AFK for any time longer than 5 minutes is against the rules. Though, the time specified may vary according to the scenario presented. You may not be constantly AFK and do so for 4 minutes, as this will lead to a punishment.

► Rule no. 4: When a player freezes their minecraft client to gain an advantage. A good example is when a player freezes their game while getting knocked off KOTH. They would throw a pearl, freeze their client, and unfreeze their client once the pearl lands on the ground, avoiding all fall damage.

► Rule no. 5: Logging out of the game whilst being inside a safe room, and logging back in after someone has entered the safe room in order to kill them is against the rules.

► Rule no. 6: Using pearls to gain advantage and get to places players are not meant to reach is completely prohibited. This includes pearling through iron doors, glass blocks or any full blocks, whether it was at Saferooms or glass chambers, since doing this eliminates the purpose of these places.

Note that pearling through an upside-down stair, a quarter of a block or any holes in general is fine, as long as it's not through full blocks.

ʀᴜɪɴᴍᴄ ɢᴀᴍᴇᴘʟᴀʏ ʀᴜʟᴇs

► Rule no. 1: Using any map exploitations for your benefit is against our Network's rules and will result in a suspension of your account. If you encounter any exploits of sorts, we urge you to report them immediately on the forums, with valid evidence and an explanation of the exploit so that we can find a solution.

► Rule no. 2: Using any possible feature and/or method to boost your statistics is against the rules.

► Rule no. 3: Being aware of players using any blacklisted modifications or breaking any kind of rules while teaming with them will get you punished on our Network. We do not tolerate players teaming with others that are breaking our rules, either by hacking, ban evading, etc.

► Rule no. 4: While making use of alternate accounts to vote for the server is allowed, no alt accounts will be given the Vote Top rewards.

This means that if your main account and alt account are both on the Vote Top leaderboard, only your main account will be rewarded respectively.

► Rule no. 5: A scammer is somebody who attempts to steal from another, usually utilizing trickery, deceit, or force. Anyone proven to have tried or succeeded at scamming another player will be punished accordingly. Some examples of scams include, but are not limited to, agreeing on a trade and not following through, lying about an item being sold in the auction house, selling banknotes made to look like they have more value than they hold, etc. A method to avoid scamming is using the command /trade. We do not refund any items lost due to a player breaking this rule.

Listing items in the auction house (/ah) that are either bugged, glitched, or with a modified name/lore in order to display them as the original item, whilst they aren't actually the said item, in order to make players buy it thinking that they will receive the correct item/voucher will also count towards this rule.

► Rule no. 6: If an exploit or bug is detected on any game mode, we request that players not use the exploit to their advantage. Instead, please collect as much information as possible concerning the problem and report them immediately on the forums. Those found abusing the bugs will be punished depending on the rigor.

Note: Certain actions could lead to a permanent ban as the first offense, with no appeal possible on some occasions, so please be aware and refrain from performing this action.

► Rule no. 7: Building offensive, inappropriate, sexual, or NSFW buildings, regardless of which game mode this is made. This includes Nazism, lag machines, inappropriate body parts, sexual activities, etc.

Note: It does not matter if it was you or someone else that you have added to your plot, cell, or island; the owner will be the one punished. Please be careful when trusting players to build in your plot, cell, or island.

► Rule no. 8: You may not use any sort of Fly Boosting mod/module if you are in Survival. This means you can use it in Spectator or Creative mode only.

► Rule no. 9: Any third-party alteration that gives notable advantages over another player in-game is blacklisted from the server. This also includes advantages that can be used via mouse and/or keyboard, such as macros. If you have built-in macros, please disable them. We want to advocate fairness for all community members; that being said, cheating will NOT be permitted. To find further details regarding allowed and disallowed modifications, refer to that page of the rules.

► Rule no. 10: Scamming a player in a trade that involves Buycraft or any sort of payment made on the Official RuinMC Store. This rule applies to all game modes, including both Factions & Prison. Players will be punished regardless if they are the ones not giving the items or not purchasing the item from the store.

Note: We know that it's possible that you do not fully trust a player with these kinds of trades, which is why it's always recommended that you ask a staff member to be a middle man for these trades, as they will help out both parties in not getting scammed. (Although a staff member may not always be available)

► Rule no. 11: The staff members who are a part of this subgroup are allowed to request you to screen share upon any suspicious activity in-game related to cheating, ban evasion, or other.

If you are asked to screen share, you will be requested to give your Discord Tag (if you do not have one, you'll need to create it) and then conduct the screen share via AnyDesk (which you will have to download if you do not already have).

► Rule no. 12: Logging on another account on the server while you're still banned will result in a permanent ban on your alt account as well as an extension of your current ban if not already permanent.

Note: Claiming to be a banned user on the network will also result in you being IP-Banned. Having a similar username to a currently banned player will also result in you being permanently IP-Banned (such as MineGamer61 and MineGamer62)

► Rule no. 13: Copying or using any official RuinMC Map is completely prohibited and will result in an instant permanent ban no matter the method of extraction used.

► Rule no. 14: Since the items and ranks you receive when purchasing are Digital Intangible Items, there is a strict no refund policy. You may not replace nor return any item/rank you purchase from the store, as we do not offer refunds once a purchase is made. Opening a PayPal dispute will result in your account being permanently IP banned on our network and other webstores.

Please Note: If you do not obtain the rank/item after 15 minutes of processing the purchase, you must fill a Payment Issue form in order for your issue to be solved:

► Rule no. 15: Using an inappropriate, sexual, or offensive username or skin will get your account permanently banned from our Network.

ʀᴜɪɴᴍᴄ ᴄʜᴀᴛ ʀᴜʟᴇs

► Rule no. 1: Flooding the chat with messages, making it hard to read out what other players might be saying, or simply disrupting the chat is not allowed. It is not allowed to send 4/5 or more messages in a really short time span. This means that you cannot send short messages when in reality you could've said the same thing in one long message. We also consider Flood sending around 15+ random characters, such as "e3wwohohabfgDFG"

► Rule no. 2: Telling players to do specific actions in return of an item which is fake which results into them being forcefully disconnected is disallowed, for eg "ALT + F4 = FREE COOKIE"

► Rule no. 3: When complaining about a certain punishment that you have received, you may feel free to calmly and respectfully contact the staff member in question, asking them why you have been punished, etc. Doing so in a disrespectful and immature way, however, is forbidden. You will receive a verbal warning beforehand, though if you keep going, the punishments will follow the ladder listed below. Regardless of how you handle this situation, if you feel that a staff member hasn't properly punished you, you may always feel free to report them on the forums, under "Staff Reports".

► Rule no. 4: Continuously asking staff members for items, perks, or anything of that nature is not allowed. You may ask them for a better sword, a donator rank, or some money in-game, though if they deny said request, you may not ask for it again. If you do so, you might receive a verbal warning for this rule. After the verbal warning, the punishments will follow the ladder listed below.

► Rule no. 5: Sending the same advertisement message in chat, whether it's for a shop, a trade, or a buycraft deal repeatedly during long periods of time, in a way that floods the chat is prohibited. While this rule is mainly put in place for game modes such as skyBlock Dream, Prison & Survival, it can also be punishable elsewhere. As a member of an island, gang/cell, clan, or Faction, you may ONLY send ONE automated / repeated message per group. This means that two or more players of the same group cannot advertise the same shop on two or more accounts in order to attract more players. If you are independently advertising your own trade (buycraft or not), you can only do so on one account, whether it's an alt or your main account. Regarding how often players can send a message manually to advertise their shop/trade, they can only do so once every 5 minutes. Players may also use an external program to automate these messages, but they will only be allowed to send it once every 15 minutes. If you get caught using a program to send these automatically less than every 15 minutes and then pretending to be manually sent, you will most likely be permanently banned under Chat Macros. Regarding how many messages you are allowed to send per "wave" of advertisement, you can send up to 2 messages back to back in order to have a longer message.

Note: If you are caught sending any of these messages in a game mode where they don't belong in, such as the Lobby, you will be punished regardless if they follow the rules listed above.

► Rule no. 6: Encouraging, asking, or incentivizing any player to break any rule, regardless of its severity, or if it's a chat/gameplay rule.

► Rule no. 7: Sending a message / multiple messages with either: 5+ words or 15+ characters capitalized. Sending 3 messages with 1 capitalized word each also will count towards the rule and can get you punished; that means no splitting up and trying to bypass it. You might also be punished if you send a bit less than 15 characters in caps lock, depending on the context./p>

► Rule no. 8: Being rude towards other players or members of the community, regardless of the platform the communication is taking place in. This also includes messages which do not include any certain swear words but are still rude towards players in general.

Note: This rule still allows players to trash talk, although only to a certain point.

► Rule no. 9: You may not talk in public chat in another language other than in English. This rule includes to any message, even if it's only one word. There are however certain commonly known words, such as "Hola", "Bonjour", etc.

While we do not mean to discriminate or block certain languages from being used, we do need for the English language to be the only one used publicly, both for moderation purposes, as well as to give the chance for all the players to be able to understand what everyone else is saying. You can feel free to speak in other languages in other private communication channels, such as /msg, /fmsg, party chat, faction/gang/team/island/clan chat, etc.

Note: If you break any other more severe rule in another language, you will also be punished accordingly, such as swearing with a disability in another language.

► Rule no. 10: Mentioning a server username or abbreviation is against the rules of our Network. This rule also includes the mention of Hacked Clients. 

► Rule no. 11: Revealing a Staff Member while they are vanished for /staff, using any kind of exploits/bugs will get you punished under this rule. If a Staff Member has vanished from /staff, they are usually doing so since they will be performing their duties, so we ask you not to reveal them since it might disrupt their work.

► Rule no. 12: Attempting to start riots in an attempt to cause conflict and chaos is disallowed in the Network. If you are caught trying to create a riot or participating in one, you will be punished according to the punishment chart.

► Rule no. 13: Sending the same messages three times or more will get you punished for Spamming. Any attempt to bypass this rule will also get you punished for it, for example, waiting some seconds before sending the same message or sending a different message in between, either that being a dot or a whole sentence.

► Rule no. 14: Advertising Social Media, whether it is by mentioning the name or by sharing a link to it, other than RuinMC's media is strictly prohibited.

Note: In the case of a player's username breaking this rule, the username will be permanently banned from the in-game server.

► Rule no. 15: Being rude or disrespectful toward our Staff Members is disallowed and will get you punished according to this rule.

► Rule no. 16: Impersonating any community member is something we take very seriously and is completely disallowed on our Network. Any attempt to impersonate a player will get you punished under this rule.

Please note the following:

If the user impersonating the Staff member or Content creator is impersonating them through a message, a mute will be applied.

If the user impersonating the Staff member or Content creator is doing it through a nickname, a mute will be applied.

If the player's username is similar to a Staff Member or Content creator's username, the player will be permanently banned.

► Rule no. 17: Using any kind of disease or disability to attack a player is completely forbidden on the Network, regardless of the communication platform.

► Rule no. 18: Having sexually-orientated conversations or sending sexual messages. This also includes anything that may be considered NSFW (Not Suitable For Work), such as talks of performing, conducting, or encouraging sexual activities.

► Rule no. 19: Posting inappropriate/unapproved links on any part of our Network is completely prohibited and will get you muted no matter the circumstances.

► Rule no. 20: We do not allow or condone any sort of discrimination towards how someone looks, or what their beliefs are. You must be respectful, open-minded, and understand other people's differences. You also must not insult or give prejudicial treatment to different groups of people, whether it's because of their race, age, gender, sexual orientation, or others.

When it comes to racial slurs, we are extremely strict. You cannot say something that resembles the actual word, regardless if you meant it or not, meaning you cannot say "Nigeria / Niger, etc. are countries" without any prior context. Any attempt of bypassing this rule will end up having you punished.

Note: This is a severe rule, which, if broken multiple times and depending on its severity, can end up having a longer and more severe punishment than normal.

► Rule no. 21: Making any kind of threats toward members of the community is completely forbidden on our server, no matter the place of communication. This also includes direct or indirect threats.

► Rule no. 22: Using an alternative account or any in-game channel to bypass your mute is wholly disallowed on our Network. This rule is not only limited to using alternative accounts but using any other method of evading your mutes.

► Rule no. 23: Threatening a player to reveal their personal information (dox) or to DDoS (Definition here) is strictly prohibited, even when it is more than clear that it was a joke. If this was done on Discord, a Permanent Ban will be applied.

► Rule no. 24: Distributing or asking a player for nudes is strictly prohibited, regardless of whether it is perceived as a joke or not.

► Rule no. 25: Demanding an item, gift card, or third-party service from someone in order for you to not perform certain actions that could either compromise their gameplay experience, or their account's safety.

Note: In order for someone to determine whether a user can be punished for "Blackmailing" or not, you must contact a Sr.Mod or Manager.

► Rule no. 26: You are not allowed to send discord invite links to other servers other than the Official RuinMC Discord Server. You are also not allowed to have them in signs, renamed items, or Faction, Gang, or Clan descriptions.

► Rule no. 27: Selling or buying in-game items for PayPal is completely disallowed on the Network. Attempting to sell/buy items for PayPal will also get you punished under the same rule. This rule is not only limited to PayPal but any third-party service like Discord Nitro but also cosmetics on other games etc.

► Rule no. 28: Selling an account for any sort of currency, whether it's IRL money, gift cards, buycraft, or in-game items isn't allowed, regardless if it was said as a joke or not. If the account which you have bought has been banned, we will take no action to unban it just because they're under a new owner.

Note: We do not recommend you buy other players' accounts, as they can easily scam you and we will not be helping out in these sorts of trades. We also will not guarantee any sort of safety for the account once you've bought it, as it can be password changed with ease.

► Rule no. 29: Encouraging players to use, purchase or install a hacked / ghost client by either giving them the download link, the website name, or sending a message that pushes an advertisement to the player(s). Keep in mind that if the advertisement doesn't include a website or isn't strictly encouraging players to use said client, it would fall under Light Advertising.

► Rule no. 30: Sharing the IP's of other servers, either in-game, discord, and/or the Forums is completely forbidden, and will result in a permanent IP-Ban from the platform. This includes any images/videos containing an unblurred IP.

► Rule no. 31: Using an inappropriate, sexual, or offensive username will get you permanently banned from our Network.

► Rule no. 32: Renaming an item to an inappropriate name is completely prohibited within the Network. The offenses of this rule follow the punishment chart of the rules being broken within the item name itself

► Rule no. 33: Having any kind of inappropriate nicknames is wholly prohibited within the Network. This also includes racist or discriminatory nicknames but is not limited to them. The offenses of this rule follow the punishment chart of the rules being broken within the nickname itself.

► Rule no. 34: Making use of party chat, friend messages, and/or any other in-game private conversation channels in order to bypass the medium and severe punishments for a chat rule is not allowed.

Note: While light rules are not punishable in these communication channels, the staff team reserves the right to punish if we feel that you are purposefully inviting a player to a party, or adding him as a friend just to break these rules without being punished.

► Rule no. 35: Revealing or sharing a player's personal private information without their explicit consent is strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to sharing real names, addresses, phone numbers, social media accounts, or any other private information is classed as Doxing.

Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks are strictly prohibited on this server. DDoS attacks are malicious attempts to overwhelm a target's network or online service by flooding it with an excessive amount of traffic is classed as DDoSing.

► Rule no. 1: Being involved in an argument with other members of the community.

► Rule no. 2: Bypassing the word filter by adding irrelevant content to your post.

► Rule no. 3: Flooding posts, such as repeatedly commenting in threads, or massively spamming characters.

► Rule no. 4: Not following the topic settled in a thread, and disregarding its context.

► Rule no. 5: Posting replies in old threads or attempting to revive them. The thread must be 1 month or older.

► Rule no. 6: Creating multiple threads in the same sub-forum within a short amount of time.

► Rule no. 7: Spamming the reactions of a member. Either positive or negative, it is forbidden.

► Rule no. 8: Attempting to create conflict or go against an idea/member.

► Rule no. 9: Impersonating a member of the staff team. By implying you are one of them or stating you are able to perform staff commands.

► Rule no. 10: Threatening members to boot them from their internet connection.

► Rule no. 11: Threatening members to leak their personal information.

► Rule no. 12: Having sexually-orientated conversations or sending sexual messages. This also includes anything that may be considered NSFW (Not Suitable For Work), such as talks of performing, conducting, or encouraging sexual activities.

► Rule no. 13: Posting inappropriate images and/or threads.

► Rule no. 14: Discriminating others due to their race, beliefs, ethics, religions, and/or overall preferences are forbidden.

► Rule no. 15: Selling / Buying any account is completely forbidden, either from Minecraft or any other game is completely forbidden.

► Rule no. 16: Advertising 18+ content, as well as sexual graphical footage.

► Rule no. 17: Advertising any sort of social media such as a YouTube channel, Instagram account, Facebook page, etc. This is forbidden within the Network if no permission was given to do so.

► Rule no. 18: Advertising other server's IP's, or external sites irrelevant to RuinMC.
